Yellows kicked off our season, and straight away got into their passing game, creating a couple of good chances early on. A batch of corners saw a wicked inswinger from Charlie Mac palmed into his own net by the keeper. We kept up the pressure, and Xander powered in a header for our second from another great corner. Second half, and a strong Chadderton side were kept at bay by some great defending from Bailey, Evan & Aaron, before Tom S played a cracking ball through to put Lewis clear, who rounded the keeper & fired into the roof of the net to finish the game off. Great team performance!

Blues kicked off second, and started on the front foot. Tristan was keeping the opposition defence busy, and had an early shot saved. The boys were passing the ball well, and the first goal came when Tristan earned a free kick on the left wing. Dan curled an absolute beauty round the wall and into the far corner off the post – nothing the keeper could do! Our defensive unit of Joe & Cam were kept busy, but showed they were well up to the task with some great defensive play. More fantastic work from our midfield led to Dan firing in the second goal. Chadderton fought back & managed to get a goal, which gave them a lifeline but the lads kept working as a team and managed to see out the game for another win - well done boys, a great start to the new season!
