A warm welcome to the 3D’s under 12’s Team Page. 
We would like to introduce you to our team and explain our approach to the game.

The team plays in the Tameside Football League.  Our home games are on Sunday mornings, with kick off at 10.30am.  Home games are played at Foxdenton Park, Foxdenton Lane, Chadderton, Oldham OL9 9QS.

We train on Monday evenings at Mossley Hollins High School Huddersfield Rd, Mossley OL5 9DP (7pm-8pm).
We issue weekly match reports on the 3D’s website.  Please do have a read.
Our wish is for the players to enjoy and learn, both enjoyment and learning are vital elements to how we approach the game of football.

We are passionate about football.  We strive for the highest standards in everything we do and seek to ensure that our players adopt the same attitude in the way they play and the way they conduct themselves as people.

Our objective is to produce young footballers with the right combination of technical skill; love of the game; maturity; mental and physical courage and respect.  We want to produce footballers that any parent would be proud of.  In short, we wish the players to achieve the highest possible standards that their abilities will allow. 

At this age group stage, winning is a bonus, but not essential.  Improvement in technical ability, attitude and their appreciation of the game is much more important.  We are adopting a long term approach to coaching and nurturing our players.

We encourage players to push themselves to improve; to explore new skills; to experiment in their play; not to fear mistakes or failure – both are opportunities to learn.  We see more value and education in a 3-2 defeat, as compared to an 8-0 win.  Above all, we want the boys to enjoy and learn. We know we will make mistakes, but we believe that our values and objectives are honest and sound. We wish to become the team of choice for all parents who have children in our age group.  We are long term investors in people and in development.
