The Future
(i) Club Profile
3D Dynamos F.C. has grown successfully
over the past 18 years and, to some extent, we have remained "low key".
We believe that the Club has developed a good reputation and it is our aim
to be acknowledged as the premier Club in the area.
To this end, we are working actively to raise
the club's public profile over the coming years and to ensure that all members
and potential members are aware of the ethos of the Club. It is important to
attract new members to ensure the continuity and success of the Club and build
on the strong base which has been developed so far.
We propose to foster closer links with local
schools in the area with a view to retaining the life blood of the Club, i.e.
the 5, 6, 7 and 8 year old children who come through hopefully developing some
loyalty for the Club.
Also, with the increasing use of internet,
the Club has developed this web site where up to date information can be found
about teams, leagues, fixtures, scores, cancellations etc.
(ii) Volunteers
The
Club can only survive with the voluntary input from committee members, team
managers and coaches and is always keen to hear from anybody who would be
interested in offering their services. Chairman, Pete Bagshaw,
Secretary Val Broadbent or indeed, any member of the committee would be more
than happy to discuss the extent of involvement in a variety of roles within
the Club (without any commitment!) and if you feel you have something to
offer, the club belongs to all who contribute. Click on "contact us" to
e-mail Val.
(iii) Club Facilities
As the Club has grown, the
various different teams have been forced to use rather disparate training
and playing facilities and we firmly believe that the Club can develop into
an even stronger force with the benefit of its own assets - in particular
pitches and training facilities which can be shared between all the Club's
teams. Whilst this would be a large and ambitious project, it is one we
feel merits further investigation and a sub-committee has been established
to explore the possibilities. Naturally, we would be delighted to hear from
anyone who has any input, particularly on potential sites
