3D Dynamos Football Club

The Club is embarking on its 19th season 2010/11 in grassroots football, currently providing an outlet to over 200 players throughout its junior and youth teams spreading from under 7 to 16 age groups, not forgetting the over 35s (dinosaurs) and the flourishing Football School for the younger and future "youth" players of the Club.

Whilst the success of the Club has never been measured by the winning of trophies, it is pleasing to see the continued growth of junior football which has meant that at several age groups we are running more than one team. The Club ethos of “providing an outlet for all, regardless of ability” has not been forgotten as we have grown.

MEMBERSHIP (STANDING ORDERS)
The Club has adopted the system of “standing orders” to pay the annual membership fee for the season. This method replaced the weekly collection of training and match subs throughout the teams. You are reminded, and made aware that the Club Membership subscription is £144 for the season, with no initial "signing on" fee. On the standing order method this is spread over the year in twelve monthly instalments of £12 (Sept-Aug), and therefore continues during the close season. Monthly payments are expected to be made throughout the summer.

It is the Club’s intention to uniform all teams across the Club with the same playing kit in style and colour. The huge cost of doing this means that we are phasing this in over this season and next. To ease the financial burden on the Club, we are looking for companies or individuals who could help us by providing sponsorship of a playing kit.
For a minimum contribution of £200.00 you could have your company’s name or logo across one of our kits.

Any interested parties should contact our Club Secretary, Val Broadbent or a team manager.

F.A. CHARTER STANDARD CLUB LINK
As part of the criteria set down by the Football Association in being a Charter Standard Development Club, we must be able to demonstrate that there are both “entry” routes into the Club and “exit” routes out of the Club available to all players.
As entry into the Club already exists through the Football School, we have been lacking in providing an exit route since the demise of the provision of open age football within the Club.
However we have made a commitment to re-establish this exit route by having a recognised formal link to Uppermill F.C. at open age level. Both Clubs committees have recognised the need for this formal link and with the support of Manchester F.A. will work on developing this relationship.
By formation of this “Club Link” it is envisaged that players at 17/18 years can continue playing locally at open age level with a recognised Charter Standard Community Club if they so wish.
Links are already established with both Clubs through the Saddleworth Football Forum, which is committed to drive for better playing facilities for football across the local area.

3D Dynamos Attend Manchester County FA "future of football" presentation

As a Charter Standard Club, 3Ds sent representatives from their coaching staff to attend the seminar on the future of English football at grassroots level featuring a presentation by Sir Trevor brooking, the FA's Director of Football Development.

Amongst topics aired, greater differentiation in coaching techniques based on age. The FA recognise that football coaching needs different approaches for 6-11 year olds than for older and more mature players in the 12-17 range, where obvioulsy there are hugely different levels of personal technique and objectives.

To this end the FA coaching levels will be re-organised to train coaches in elements specific to age range.

Sunday 21st October - 3D U8s played MUFC academy trialists at the famous Cliff training ground

3D U8s received an invite from MUFC's junior academy to train at the famous Cliff training ground on Sunday 21st October, and to play a series of short games against some of MUFC's budding academy trialists. 3D's team for the day included Jack Dunning, James Gregory, William Wright, George Walsh, Flynn Bradley, Sam Darke-Williams and Devon Matthews - see attached photos. The lads had a great day, taking in a tour of the training facilities, receiving a commemorative pennant from MUFC before play, more than holding their own in the games, and then receiving a guard of honour from the MUFC players at the end of play. The boys performed out of their skins and were a credit to their club. Well done lads
